MOVE-AGE is a joint doctorate program by the MOVE Research Institute Amsterdam, the Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) and the University of Leuven (BE).
In the MOVE-AGE program approximately 50 PhD students will receive a fellowship to study how mobility can be maintained during ageing. Loss of mobility with ageing is a vast and rapidly growing social and economic problem worldwide. Within MOVE-AGE we will perform translational research to generate knowledge and to train a new generation of scientists to address this problem.
MOVE-AGE is funded by the European Commission as part of the Erasmus Mundus program.
