Important dates
December 14th, 2008, 12.00 pm: Extended deadline for abstract submission
January 23rd, 2009: Notification of acceptance Because of the overwhelming amount of abstract submissions, the notification of acceptance will follow this week.
Abstract submissions
Abstract submissions for both oral and poster presentations are subject to review by the scientific committee. Abstract submissions will be accepted for processing through web-based submission only.
Procedure after acceptance abstract
Authors of accepted abstracts (oral and poster) will consequently be asked to provide a 3 page copy ready short paper, which contribution will be published in the congress proceedings by the second half of 2009 as a selfstanding book in the ‘Assistive Technology Research Series’ of IOS Press (Amsterdam).
A selection of 10 highlights of the congress will be published as a special issue of the Journal Disability and Rehabilitation.
