CWO MOVE

The CWO of MOVE is a subcommittee of the Research Committee. The CWO tests research protocols before they can be submitted to the Medical Ethical Testing Committee (METC) or the ‘Dierexperimentencommissie (DEC)’ of the VU University Medical Center.

Frequency meetings CWO
The CWO meets every two weeks.

The following documents should be sent digitally to Dr. Renate de Jongh (RT.deJongh@vumc.nl), one week before the meeting of the Committee:

  • an announcement letter to the committee
  • a protocol, using the METc protocol template
  • a patient information letter

The announcement letter should include:

  • the title of the project
  • the type of protocol (pilot study, cohort study, multicenter trial etc)
  • a motivation to conduct the proposed research or to participate in multicentre trial
  • information on arrangements with departments for extra research besides patient care (lab, rontgen etc)
  • information on the number of included patients
  • information on the scientific spin off for the department/faculty
